Nourishment Aid
Many individuals living on the footpaths face immense challenges in earning enough to sustain themselves, leading to severe malnutrition, which in turn contributes to various health issues. Addressing this bitter truth, we are committed to doing everything we can to combat malnutrition and improve the health of those in need.
Our initiatives to battle malnutrition and promote overall well-being include:
-
Monthly Ration Kits: We provide essential ration kits to individuals who are able to cook or have been advised by medical professionals to maintain a healthy diet. These kits contain vital food staples to help them meet their nutritional needs and improve their quality of life.
-
Daily Milk Sewa: Every day, we distribute 100 to 150 packets of 500ml milk to patients in need. Milk is a key source of nutrition, and this initiative ensures that individuals, especially those with weakened health, receive the necessary nutrients to support their recovery.
-
Food Distribution: We distribute nourishing meals such as Chole Bhature, Aloo Kachori, and other hearty dishes to patients in need, providing them with much-needed sustenance. This program helps ensure that those facing extreme poverty and health challenges are not left without access to nutritious food.
-
Fruits for Kids: At least twice a month, we distribute fresh fruits to children living on the footpath. This initiative helps provide the essential vitamins and minerals children need to stay healthy and strong, contributing to their growth and well-being.
-
Daily Water Sewa: We recognize the critical importance of hydration, which is why we provide daily access to clean drinking water near A.I.I.M.S. This service ensures that those living on the footpaths can stay hydrated, preventing dehydration and improving overall health.
These efforts are part of our ongoing commitment to alleviating malnutrition and improving the health and dignity of those facing extreme poverty. Through these projects, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.
